As there are many open research questions and new opportunities to apply research to further transform and improve our society IPN undertakes awards ICT researchers, and a lot of our community members are recognised for their important contributions.

IPN Prize for ICT Research

Since 2011 the prestigious Dutch Prize for ICT Research is awarded annually to a scientific researcher who has carried out innovative research or is responsible for a scientific breakthrough in computer science.

IPN Service Award

The IPN Service Award, is installed in 2024, and recognizes a person that has provided outstanding service to the IPN community.
