Working Group
To increase the visibility of computer science research and computer scientists in the Netherlands, the IPN board set up this working group on prizes and awards.
The IPN board expects that by proactively targeting existing prizes, more computer scientists will win prizes and awards, and thereby enhance the visibility of computer scientists and research in general. One action of the working group is an overview of existing national and international prizes and awards, deadlines and nomination policy, and ensuring that computer science candidates are structurally put forward by the field for existing initiatives. Furthermore, this working group also arranges the yearly IPN Distinguished Service Award.

Contact Prize for ICT Research
The Prize for ICT Research is awarded jointly by the Netherlands ICT research platform IPN and NWO through the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (Koninklijke Hollandse Maatschappij der Wetenschappen).
