Commit2Data is the largest national research and innovation program aimed at big data and its applications, on the basis of a public-private partnerships (PPP).
The program started in 2016 and will last (at least) until 2022. Beginning 2019, more than 100 PhD students and postdocs work together with more than 130 partners in over 40 research projects, dedicated to various application fields, such as logistics, industry, healthcare, smart culture, energy and sports. The Commit2Data program stimulates not only fundamental and applied research, but also aims at valorisation and dissimination of Big Data related knowledge, for instance, through setting up a network of big data hubs.
