The annual IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE) is one of the premier conferences in data and information engineering and addresses research issues on designing, building, managing, and evaluating advanced data intensive systems and applications.
Our major activity is the promotion of the International Conference on Extending Database Technology (EDBT), which has been held every two years since 1988. From 2008 on, the Conference is being held annually.
The EDBT Association has close relationships with other organizations in the database field.
