As there are many open research questions and new opportunities to apply research results to further transform and improve our society IPN undertakes action and organises several events:

ICT.OPEN

This annual event is a show case and meeting place for computer science research. It is bringing together fundamental ICT research as well as novel and innovative applications of ICT research and is organised in cooperation with the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).

ICT with industry

For 5 days 50 researchers from IT and Computer Science from a wide range of universities (within the Netherlands and Europe) work extensively together on challenging problems proposed by companies.

ICT AWARD

This prestigious Netherlands Prize for ICT Research (€50,000) is awarded annually to a scientific researcher who has carried out innovative research or is responsible for a scientific breakthrough in computer science.
